Can't wait til Jan Razz Should be fun!!

Many of us don't have the ideal show horse in our stable (I kinda do but he's sick & on 3 legs atm Sad Crying or Very Sad ) but have a go, you meet lots of new ar's and if its close to home, even better.

I personally enjoy all the fluffing around with your horse the day before getting them all spiffed up, and secretly, my horses seem to enjoy the pampering too Very Happy

Thanks Maggiesmum Smile I will just have to do my best with the presentation and just aim to have fun. Hopefully I can get on a team that isn't too serious about winning but just want to have fun.

We have arc after the closing date but have a question I need answered before I enter. How many classes and what classes do we compete in?

We compete in the ring for our Level (L2 in my case for eg). Then we ride in the classes that best describe us (for my SOP 31 -40 yrs, led 15 - 16hh, and so on). We don't even have to do them all ... likelihood of me doing the pleasure mount on either of mine is pretty remote. Laughing Q would have to be very tired, and Red would have to have brakes. Laughing Take a look at the list MM posted, you'll find the classes for you and Ace on there. Each level has their own ring too (bonus!).

So the points you get, go to the overall score.

Actually the * is classes that attract official points that go on your cards, but every class goes to the overall score for TTT scoring.

Every class you place in down to 4th will count to the final scores, this will determine the highpoint winner in each section.

yes, Last year 1/2 my team stopped competing after the classes with the * cause, the ring stewart said the other classes didn't count. Twisted Evil Boy I was ennoyed and I think the girls weren't happy either once i told them because they had placed in nearly every class until then. Rolls Eyes

I started calling the wrong darn test at TTTD stupidly, as I listened to the steward as to which test and the gal I was calling for was sooooo nervous she wasn't sure, it was all a bit if a rush and kerfuffle. Ended up aside from error of course a nice test Embarassed

I went last year and will never go again... bugger that heat, was totally wrong I retired at rider class I placed 2nd so was a chance I had to challenge for reserve champ but i unsaddled & decided a ribbon wasnt worth the heat not to mention too hot for my precious pony.... good luck to all heading up there...
i just might be there along with one of the judges but I can stay in the motel and keep cool in the aircon Very Happy Very Happy
