Call out to all NF breeders. Does anyone have a Loganberry or Cranberry that went over 14hh? BP Shiraz progeny don't count! I want to breed a 14.2 hander out of my Ballerina. In fact I want it as big as worldly possible to handle my non-petiteness. I am just not sure the Berry family will do it!

Horseark, nothing wrong with that!!
I think its a good idea to start small and build up. Anyhow, best thing is to use alot of grid work, pole work and small jumps to get pony into the swing of pacing out jumps correctly and learning to balance
My Mumsy took the photos with her super camera lol but it was on a dodgy setting and we didn't know how to change it
Yeah, Barney seems to be "filling out" which I was told would probably happen as he got older. He is starting to look more like a Newfie than a slim riding pony
Barney pretty much looks EXACTLY the same as his Daddy Barnaby, right down to the little white star on his forehead! its crazy!!
His a good little jumper, very calm and honest! I had him going over a double and the first jump was a mess, he cleared it but landed off. He could of ducked out of the second or stopped, but he pulled himself together, gathered up, and cleared the second jump. So proud. I just need to find a good jumping instructor
In further news, I have just joined up to BDEFG, an adult riding group and my first rally is Nov 12th. Very excited and looking forward to getting into the swing of things.

We have bred 3 part bred New Forest using our Irish Sport Horse performance mares. We have found it to be a fantastic cross as we are getting big horse height, looks and that quiet pony brain
2yo gelding "Rilten Rupert" by Liburnam Park Piccadilly out of ISH mare by Coosheen Liam. [COLOR=red]He is 16hh already and shows enormous jumping potential.

2011 filly foal by Liburnam Park Piccadilly out of ISH mare by Coosheen Liam. She is very tall already.

2011 filly foal by Liburnam Park Piccadilly out of ISH mare "Kirby Park Irish Jade" (3/4 sister to Kirby Park Irish Jester). This filly is also very tall, the picture was taken when she was younger before she began her enormous growth spurt!

Newforestpony- Wow! A Filly out of a sis to KP Irish Jester. Are you going to to event her?
Horseark- we have only breed the one this year. We only breed for me to ride and I can only ride so many! I want to put my pure NF filly in foal this season.

Hi Everyone, well its been a little while since I have been on. What with the weather, Frank then getting bitten by something and gettting a bit crook and then I was O/S and did I mention the weather!!! We are finally back in the saddle and my how the boy has grown. He has filled out beautifully and has really matured. Today we headed out to a Show Jumping Clinic with Alan Mitchell. We were in a group of 4 (16hands and above)then there was Frank (14.1hh). Well all I can say (with a mighty big grin) is that Foxcote Frankincense did his Dad and the breed proud. 1.05 metres is what we acheived today and I could not have been more over the moon. Frank performed like a seasoned jumper and did not put a foot wrong, his whole attitude was simply Mr Professional. I cant wait to campaign him on the SJ circuit, I really feel he will be able to hold his own against the big boys (he certainly does at home). I just need to say a big Thankyou to Fiona, WOW what a pony we have. So excited about the journey ahead. What a fantastic breed.xxoo
