Sorry Horseark - AP did the riding on Saturday and I had the job of photo taking - & failed dismally Sad You have a much better photographer to take your jumping shots Smile

Got 2 photos of them between jumps and a short burst of video footage where you need a magnifying lens to view. AP was very modest about their performance - the 3 big ( 2 were experienced grade 2/3 horses) were refusing and knocking rails - think Frank knocked 1 rail in all his rounds over 85 - 95 cm course (no refusals) and was the only one in the group allowed to tackle 1.05m so a fantastic achievement. This little guy just loves too jump (so does AP).

Jarosite Finesse is a lovely mare and would love to have her in our broodmare band - may have to do some arm twisting and begging Very Happy

Well Poooh FF (I cant take pics I am hopeless, normally cut off heads ,get good tails Laughing )You are lucky having such a great rider training Frank.Pony showjumping FEI is coming in 2012 for children(damn shame I am old)its on the EA site in news section.Reckon the New Forest will shine there.

I saw Peveril yesterday he is the most magnificent colour Umpa Lumpa Dupadoo Do! would mind owning him.

Marg has a yearling filly who is a bit flash ,she is going to keep her thats why Nessie is for sale.Just starting her first foal undersaddle ,time flys by he is lovely boy.

Tomorrow I am teaching Sultan to jump the dummy for collection,it going to be 38 .Oh joy hope he gets the idea quickly!!! Very excited he has a few big jumping mares to AI think they will have some cracker children.
People cant believe how big the New Forest ponies can jump with an awesome technique even as young ponies
& they love it. Smile

Step away from the computer,
My Erinskay Peveril filly. 3/4 New Forest just about 14 hh now

Just moved her and our other filly who is 1/4 New Forest away this afternoon to be broken in. We are going to do them ourselves this time as its so hard finding someone who is close but gentle to break in.
Both had only been floated when they were running with their mothers so we gave them a few days in the winter loading themselves in and out of the float. Backed it into a panel of the Round yard and put their hay in it. Then yesterday we tried them both again and they walked straight on. So today we put them in and shut the tack box round and the top and bottom door and drove them the 15 mins to where we are going to break them in.

Cant wait to ride this girl..she has awesome movement.

Frank has finally graduated out into the big paddock!!
Frank has a very big personality and quite often wears a t-shirt that says "does not play well with others" because of this he has always been paddocked by himself while he has been with me. My two big boys have their own big personalities, especially the chestnut who finds annoying little NF ponies beyond his realm of patience Laughing And as the pictures show the little man has finally grown into a big boy and he is loving every minute of it.

Hi guys,

I am sad to say that my Bain Park Ballerina looks like she will only mature to 14hh. Unfortunately this is too small for me so I will consider selling her to an exceptional home.

She is 3yo, has just been broken in And is entered in the APSB show in ridden classes. However, she is only for a confident teen/adult to ride at the moment.

She is an exceptional pony, full sister to FW Riverdance, supreme champ at Barastoc, and she is every bit as nice. All ready a Grand Champion M&M winner.

She would also be an asset to breeders as she is, in my opinion, perhaps the best moving NF in Australia, others have agreed!

She is good to s/c/f and so good to handle, because she absolutely loves attention.

There are photos somewhere on this thread.

Good luck at the stud show everyone!!!

On a side note, we were very upset to receive a phone call informing us that there is a rumour going around that our precious stallion Erinskay Peveril is for sale. This is absolutely not true. Pev is very dear to us, he came with our stud Forestway and that is where he will remain for the rest of his days. This is purely a rumour and defintely not true!

Back at home now after a very hot, tiring but fun weekend at the show. Garnet managed a 2nd in ridden M&M gelding but missed out on Reserve. He wasn't the type of show hunter the judge was looking for as he was way too small and fine in comparison to the ponies she was favouring. He did finish 4th in his ridden M&M show hunter out of 6 though. Nothing in the led M&M show hunter and 4th out of 4 in led NF gelding over 13.2 h. Its a pity he is 13.2 1/2h as he just looks way too small and fine next to the bigger ponies. We will be at the summer royal next saturday though to try again.

I have been talking about selling Garnet so perhaps someone is confusing this as he is by Erinskay Peveril. That's probably where the rumours are coming from but from whom, I don't know.

Here are some photos of Garnet at the APSB show - pulled from my video so not the best photos. I have a friend riding him for me but I should be riding him at the Summer Royal.

I think Peveril is lovely too. I haven't advertised Garnet as I am not really sure yet whether I will sell him. I think he needs a lot more time to mature as he is still very immature. He is really a fine little New Forest pony. Perhaps he needs some time off after the next show.

Well done on everyone's achievements at the stud show!!! Very Happy

Attached is picture of one of our 2011 foals. This is the beautiful filly "Forestway Piccalilli". She is by Liburnam Park Piccadilly out of an Irish Sport Horse mare by Coosheen Liam. Lily should mature 16-16.2hh and is definitely not for sale! Very Happy She is a full sister to Rilten Rupert.
