I bought this bit off the forum and it's too small for my horse as he has a HUGE mouth and he needs a 7".

It's a hanging cheek waterford 6" and it needs to be 1/2-1/4 of an inch bigger than your horse normally takes.

A waterford is suitable for a horse that leans on the bit or takes the bit between their teeth, great for cross-country for a big strong horse.

I just want to get back what I paid for it which was $35 (from the forum) including postage and it cost $70 approx new for them.

For more info and a pic of this bit see

Waterford sold PP

I also have a single jointed snaffle bit in a size 5.5" which was sold as a 6", I will sell that for $15 including postage.
Still available.

Thanks.

What's the benefit of the hanging cheek?

The hanging cheek adds a bit of extra poll pressure and also keeps the bit stiller in the mouth than an eggbutt which some horses prefer.
