Hi everyone,
Has anyone used or seen a friend use a Hippus Bit? I am trying to find out a little bit more information on this brand of bits.
(designed by an Australian, made in Switzerland I think)

Thankyou!
Anita

My instructor recently bought one of these bits. She uses it on both her young horse & her Grand Prix dressage horse & really likes it. She gave it such a good wrap that I'm going to try it on my horse in my next lesson & may purchase one myself (my horse has a low pallet & I currently ride her in a straight, rubber bit so will be interesting to see how she goes in this 'smooth jointed' bit).

looks like a similar concept to Myler at a glance? I've only used those ones so far but it's been pretty good! Think the horse is more comfortable... didnt notice a difference 'control' wise.. if you get one let us all know how you go! Smile

I tried to buy one once, but the swiss ? supplier put me on to the australian supplier who never responded to my email.

If you know where to purchase one can you let us know?

You can purchase them from a guy in Tassie, although I did notice when mine came it was sent from QLD? Was good service and only took a couple of days to get to me and this was just recently. PM if you want details.

I am looking at adding the range to Bit Bank Australia, so hopefully you will soon be able to order and trail through us!

Arnold, any feedback on the bit?
