hi,
am hoping there are current and former locals of Cockatoo and Surrounds who will see this and respond by attending a free BBQ
at the reserve in Cockatoo from 10am to 1pm.
It is being held to send a message to the Cardinia Council about how we feel about our much loved Kinder.
This kinder survived the Ash Wednesday Bushfires along with 300 residents mostly, children, in 1983. Many many others on that day were not so lucky.
Our Council has now made the decision to demolish the building with out consulting local residents or listening to their many pleas.
