Poco Chocolate (AKA Opal) is an extemely pretty and correct, true black quarter horse mare. Opal has excellent conformation, great movement, super sweet nature and a pedigree full of halter and performance champions. With a double cross of Dell Mingo, Eddie Barnes & Mescal in the dam line, on both top and bottom lines of her pedigree .. there lies the strength of the old working blood. Opal has produced 2 outstanding colts to Tribulation (Imp/Dec).

People use the 'working bloodlines' spiel to explain away a lot of accidental purchases, however the thinking behind the decision to invest in these particular bloodlines was specifically made to promote the calm, cool, even temperament these horses are famous for. The depth of breeding and natural muscling are simply a bonus.

Supporting these blooodlines are a number of versitile all round athletic lines eg. Mr Freckles Boy, Docs Poco ar and 3 x crosses to the great Hill King Pistol. Add to this her dam - Poco Honey Grace, herself an outstanding youth mount by Garswood Sporty Bid (Wise Bid (Imp) x Sporty Lisa Lou (Imp)) who carries very talented sprint blood.

The horses from these pedigree's have the bone to handle hard work for extended periods of time. They have the calm temperament our breed is famous for and they were not too shabby in the halter ring. Old Wise Bid (Imp) entered the halter ring for the firsat time at the grand old age of 21 and much to the delight of his owners, he placed 2nd out of 9 horses.

Very Nice. Are you selling her as a brood mare. Or can she be ridden.
