Hi there, I have a hereford x Aussie Red Heifer who has been with humans all her life and is also halter broken and is lead around by me all the time.
I am currently moving her off the property for other reasons (no fault of her own ) and need somewhere for her to stay . The property shes on she doesn't need looking after but gets bread and carrots for treats Smile She is not distructive in anyway . Very quiet and cute.I am happy to pay for her aggistment or put her in calf and you can do what you want with it. It is to be negotiated. A suitable place needs to be on the mornington peninsula or close by. Please give me a pm if you think you can help me out or if you need anymore info . Thanks

Step away from the computer,

and she can go somewhere with no company? and no human interaction/ looking after...
extremely cruel IMO to keep a cow with no company - they are herd animals - I always keep at least 3...
Have you contacted any 'cattle' places? even local dairy etc. if she can live with the heifer calves as a 'mother' figure even if you willing to pay for her up-keep and she gets to interact with her own sort...

yes I wont be having her on her own at all. She has always been with a horse or other cattle. She will not be left in a paddock on her own thats for sure.

Hi
Would Leongatha be too far away?
She could join our small, spoilt herd. Smile
