It is with a heavy heart i off my trusty steed Hammer for sale. Hammer is a true plodder, but still has the ability to motor if his rider is confident. He's been just about everywhere and never says no. He is a true all-rounder, with experience as a champion barrel racer in qld before i bought him. Since owning him in 2004, we have done trail rides through the bush and beach, numerous ARC rallies, polocrosse in 4 states, pony club in qld with a 10 year old girl, horse sports, dressage tests, jumping, combined training, clerk of the course at Cairns Jockey Club, a breaker horse to ride with young race horses in Cairns, and given many of my nervous nelly friends their confidence back on a pony.
At his first ever show, and my first one in 25 years, (TTT Showing in Geelong) we rode in level 5 and won MMS HRCAV, MMS Beginner, Res Champ rider class and a swag of other ribbons.
He is currenlty on lease until TTT Nav ride, at which time he will return home and be available to buy. He will come with his bridles (show and work) and wardrobe of rugs. If the buyer would like to purchase the Stubben VSD that fits him then that can also be negotiated.
So Hammer is:

15.2hh
quarter horse and ASH, although i don't have his rego papers
rising 14
bay, gelding

he is easy to handle, no fuss to c, s, f, w. He's travelled in floats, trucks and my new step-up float.

I am asking $5000 to the best of homes only.

pm me to make arrangements to view the big dork. Very Happy photos to come

Hammer is THE BEST horse. When I had a bad fall and my confidence was shot Hammer was the horse I rode to help me enjoy riding again.

He is so quiet and trustworthy that PCB1 let me borrow him to do a dressage and and my first ever showjumping comp. He was such a star that we went on to win the showjumping comp Shocked I was so proud of him that he took me around the course nice and safely Very Happy

Honestly if I didn't have my little pony who I only bought in December then I would be buying Hammer but alas I can't have another horse Sad

I am sure whoever is lucky enough to buy Hammer will be the happiest person around and I know he will be sadly missed by not only PCB1 but also the many people who have been privilaged enough to ride this lovely boy.

thank you LB, i do believe he is reasonably priced for such a great horse. you can leave him for months, pull him out of the paddock and ride off without any fear of bucking, bolting or shying. if the current market wasn't so low he would be priced significantly higher, but i can't keep them all. Sad

hi lorraine, he was bought for me by my brother in 2004 after i had 2 years off riding due to a serious accident that almost left me in a wheelchair. i was so scare to get on i would shake, but Hammer gave me my confidence back. Very Happy he is a very special horse.
