Hello everyone
Long time lurker...and i can now, after many years of wanting an ASH proudly post after buying my dream ASH " Nuniong Rhythm'N' Blues"
Archie is a 15.1hh 4 rising 5 chestnut stock horse
He has been under saddle for 2 years and has done some light ARC, some trail riding and a small amount of cattle work
He is a very quiet oblidging little fellow !
We had some err..."issues" with who was boss in the first week i got him home...but he has come ahead in leaps and bounds since, once he trusts you he will do anything you point him at !
I really hope i will have the confidence to bring him on to be the best he can be
I have joined the ASH society, so will become a member of the Warrnambool branch i believe? Any other members on here ?
Ohh also...Archie is by Glen lee Rivoli Asset, out of Nuniong Rhythm
Anybody else have horse with these lines?
Now if only i wasnt so computer illiterate and could upload some photos...

I have a 1st Cross ASH.
I noticed on the programs at show their are no part bred classes but someone did mention to me that if my horse is 1st cross and registered I can show her in the ASH classes.
Is this correct ?
Thanks

They are usually not eligable... go to the ASH website and look your horses registered name up and there is a section on there that will tell you if your horse is eligable for competing
Good luck

I always thought that part of the table was to do if the registered owner was financial or not!
|
That's correct
Oooh overo, I love the Glen Lee breeding

My suspected ASH X, Star, what do you think he is? Stock horse or not? Other suggestions have been STB X or TB X

Keep in mind these are from when I first got him, so he's put on some muscle since then.

All 1st cross ASH are eligible for competition, in any ASH event. The eligibility section of the online studbook may say not eligible for a number of reasons, including the owner not being a current financial member.
Anyway, Hi! Im new to the forum, and Victoria! Im from NSW, where i was involved with ASH events quite heavily, as well as a bit of this and that, im a bit of an alrounder
Not sure what the ASH scene is like in Vic, and unfortunatly I had to leave the horsies behind so ive no idea when ill be getting back into it.
Ill put a few pics up, (sorry theres actually quite a lot haha )
This is my main guy, ASH Gelding "shad"
we've had him since he was a bub

Mandy, bought from the fountain of youth sale.

Hi guys,
I'm looking at putting my ASH mare in foal at some stage and wondered if anyone has some suggestions as to a good ASH stallion?
She's 15hh and a maiden so I was thinking something around 14.2?? Not really sure as it will be my first foal too. However, the stallion must be super quiet, easy to handle and be known for handing this down to his progeny.
Thankyou!! Any suggestions will be appreciated!

Does anyone know the people who bred my ASH? The place is called Lenarrybe and is in Bathurst NSW. If anyone has any information I'd love to hear from you.

Not sure if this would interest anyone but i currently have a stock horse gelding for sale, and his price is pretty neg!
LONGYARD CADDET
Caddy is a 15.1 Bay Stock horse gelding with four white socks and blaze he is 12 years old and willing to please.
Caddy has been in full work for the past month and in and out of before that for about 2 years, He is curently going very well.
Caddy knows all his lateral work, leg yeald, shoulder in, flying changes, walk to canter and does these very well.

Caddy has previously Eventer and is a very bold and carful jumper currently jumping around 1m and has a very natural scope.
Caddy is good to catch, shoe, truck, float Tie up and he doesnt move a foot when being saddled.
Caddy has been to pony club recently and didnt put a foot wrong jumping everything that was put infront of him, he is for sale through no fault of his own, and would be ideal for for a confident rider who wants an all rounder.
