Year 12, 2 horses and part time job
Yes it is definately doable, but you need to be well planned with time management, I find it makes me more organised

Work Friday and Saturdays and either lunch or dinner shifts on Sundays. Don't have a horse currently but it all seems pretty doable from my perspective.
As long as I have the time to check the horse over and feed twice a day minimum then I don't need to ride everyday.

I work at Macca's and the pay is OK, any money is better than none. I manage my time pretty easily, get down to the horse everyday, my shifts are usually a Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday, so I ride on the days I can and the days I work on a weekday, I finish at around 8-9, and go down and feed Elphie after work. I can usually ride before or after work on a Saturday or Sunday. I also manage to do my homework in between that as well (yr 11, dreading yr 12)
It's doable, you just have to be dedicated, manage time and everything else everyone else has said
