if you want music then buy it
singers/bands need to make a living too!

Most of the bands I listen to condone, if not encourage illegal downloads. So long as people are listening to and enjoying their music, they don't care how you got it!
|
fair enough for the type of bands you listen to, but most people don't like screamo/emo whatever you listen to so what i said excludes you
|
Umm, thanks?
|
didnt mean to offend..
but most people listen to mainstream music, and whatever anyone wants to listen to is fine, but what i meant was MOST mainstream artists would rather you paid for their music.
nothing against screamo/emo music, i have a group of friends who don't listen to anything else im the odd one out

Has anyone seen that episode of south park that was mocking artists for complaining about illegal downloads?
It was like, Britany Spears COULD have had this blah blah blah private plane, but because people chose to illegally download her music, now she can only afford THIS private plane.
It was farken hilarious.
There are different types of artists who do condone free downloading of music, not just emo/screamo.
Their songs are accessible on youtube so I don't see why we can't download them to listen to them.

This.
And, if not that many people listen to the music I do, you'd think they'd be the artists complaining about illegal downloads? Since, you'd presume, they'd make less money due to a smaller fanbase. Says a lot about the materialistic nature of the world IMO.
