from memory, there was only one ACE assessed this year. Maybe look on the result page as to who had it? Smile

The forum drove me to drink. Remind me to thank it.
I know someone who had one born last season, but I haven't seen it yet Rolls Eyes

Am thinking of possibly using him (well, his semen!) this coming season.

Will watch this with interest. And may have to go for a drive and have a look at the foal!

We are planning on putting our Northern mare in foal to him this coming season. If you google his name you should get pics of his progeny. There is a stud in the U.S. that has a few and I'm sure I found them just through Google.

Isn't it spelt Quaterback, without the R?

I'm thinking of using him in the future for my palomino Alabaster girl. He will make a very complementary cross for her.

We had 2 quaterbacks (without the 'r') in season 2008-9, one out of a Holsteiner mare who is very together, not over heavy, very balanced and one out of a TB mare who is quite fine, compact but leggy, good mover and pretty. Both foals have extravagant movement although the Holsteiner is much more balanced at this stage. They are both real athletes but the TB has produced a better cross for dressage although his dam is from jumping lines so I'm sure he'll jump as well - her other foal to Luda Lacroix (Trak stallion) has a super jump. Temperament wise they are both super, but they have had correct handling. Height wise they will end up between 16.1-16.3hh. Mares are 15.2hh and 16hh.

I would recommend crossing him to something light to medium framed, not too long, with enough balance in its movement so you don't end up with outrageous movement but a horse that can't hold it together Smile Of course with a mare that's sensible and trainable - you don't want that athleticism on a horse that you can't train!

I would post photos but as they say, look at a horse at 3 weeks, 3 months, then 3 years!

The only one I have seen is the one that was in the Isle of Wight auction a couple of weeks ago. He was lovely, really friendly and really good movement too. I'm not great on foal conformation but he looked pretty good to me!

I own and bred TW Qursed. Ironically I found this thread googling QB progeny in the wee small hours unable to sleep!
All the moons lined up when she was born, everything about her is correct and I cannot wait for her to grow up.

Qursed has a full brother or sister due in Sept 2010 that is bound for NZ.

I love QB and thoroughly recommend him as a stallion. Of my two doses, mare took first insem, the FS is of excellent quality.

i worked with TF Touchdown at the IOW auction. He was an absolute stunner, correct movement for a foal and had the benefit of teflon socks, nothing stuck to them. Lol. Affectionately know as Mr Sparkles. He currently has no knackers tho which is a shame. Good temperament and whilst handling makes all the difference he is very quiet. I can't post pictures as I don't own him but if you search for the most recent Isle Of Wight auction catalogue you will find his pics in there
