What word would you use, or consider to be the most important aspect in dressage and training?

Ok, i'm being a bit special and don't really understand what you're asking Embarassed

Are you talking about the horse as an individual - breed, movement, brain etc or do you mean things like lessons, training methods, the way the horse goes and carries himself - balance, engagement etc?

Ok Astcat, the question is meant to relate to (or ask) what is the most fundamental requirement for dressage. Which is in turn, the most important aspect. Smile

This is a bit of an eye opening thread. It just goes to show that most people have no idea what judges are looking for. Confused

It's not a trick question. There is only one answer. It is what judges are trained to look for above everything else because without it, nothing else happens properly.
If you guys actually read the rule books you would all know the answer Confused It's written plain as day and it has nothing to do with the training scale Cool

That is all training scale. The number one most important thing in dressage has nothing to do with the training scale.
