You welcome  He has bought 4 or 5 horses over in Germany for talented riders and just enjoys going to comps. and see "his" horses do well

Your dad is not that weird Martina, amazingly hospitable and friendly & generous, well maybe that is weird. And your mum has put up with him for a few years
it's not that much to import by the way.
if he ever wants to sponsor a middle age wannabe just for the fun, let him know I am in the market. (and if he does come out again let me know, he can cook for me!)

Really  I thought, at least $25 - $30k !? That's a LOT
if he ever wants to sponsor a middle age wannabe just for the fun, let him know I am in the market. (and if he does come out again let me know, he can cook for me!)
You must have loved his food ... He still asks about you !! Don't think he come again, as he is not that well

Sorry your dad is not well - I think of him (and your mum) often. yes his english was awesome....it had so much personality, but I got it all.
Its around $15k to fly one out, so yes a lot of money, but not outrageous.

Thanks Samson I think, he really wants me to come over there. Will check him (dad) out on my business trip, as on the phone everything is always "perfect" with him ( NOT ) !
Mike was/is the one finding all these Baby Superstar's atm ....
Looks like I have to talk to you about the transport !!!
$15k was what I was quoted over 10 years ago You must have some contacts !?

IMHO the mares are just as much if not more important than the stallion
Unlike the Aussie 'I've got a mare (read anything with the 'bits') in the paddock.. what FANTASTIC stallion can I breed to and get a superstar foal from?!' *runs off to hide*
In Europe the mares are more 'vauled'..
While in Spain at a stud I enquired numerous times about a filly that cought my eye... I was 'politely ignored' and a few colts were pointed out instead..

He bought me this:
for the Youngsters anymore ! So that's at least 3-4 years down the track. Suit me with the time I got for riding atm. Selling all my current horses,so hopefully by then I am ready for a new beast.
