My horse has had a 6 month spell whilst I have been injured and I'm toying with the idea of sending him away to have him bought back into work. Google doesn't help me find anyone, and I have no idea who's good or reputable or not going to empty my bank account... Rolls Eyes So who would you use? I'm in the northern sburbs, but fine to send him to their place. Smile What is the expected price to pay?

Step away from the computer,
could your instructor possible ride him for a few weeks untill you jump on? just pay for like 4 lessons a week and do some ground/lunge work with him on the other days?

Other wise could your instructor take him for a month get him going for you? less confising for the horse as it was already being trained that way by that trainer so it would be same aids and commands ect Smile

Thats what id do, im going to give my boy next winter off and my instructor is going to take him for a month or two depending how much I save up after winter to bring him back in and train him up a bit for me Smile

everything happens for a reason.....

I'm about to send my ex-racehorse to Scott Bredden in Balmattun (near Euroa) for a couple of weeks riding out. He's a breaker/re-educator. Charges $120 per week.

PM me if you want details.

I just got my boy brought back into work by Rebecca Ray (Diamantina on this forum).

She is terrific. She is in Bendigo though, so you would have to to take him there I'd say. Anyway try PM'ing her. Smile

I'll second and highly recommend Michelle!

Not only an awesome breaker, she's also very good at bringing horses back into work. She is a lovely, calm and experienced rider that has a genuine understanding of horses.

She's located in Whittlesea

If at first you do succeed, try not to look astonished...
