Hopefully, the server seems magically faster today. It is about twice the machine it was yesterday, so we will see how it goes.

I also need to do some software upgrades so you might find it off late one night this week.

It was good for a bit, then it got rooool slow, then it had a DNS error, then took ages to load this page, now it seems a bit quicker....

Fingers crossed Luke....

although I am now mourning the loss of potty mouth, so I'd better go and deal with that..... Sad

I'm not sure how much you can read into the time taken. I can remember seeing times taken of less than a second, when in fact it took over a minute.

I'm just thinking out loud hear, but how much does something like Norton affect loading a thread with a lot of pics? I know this computer nearly ground to a halt with Norton on board, but with ditching that and changing to Google Chrome, which seems much quicker, with dial-up and lizzy turbocharger, I'm loading pages almost instantly, even with sigs turned on.

Hi there,
I found your forum this afternoon and have been having a great time reading through all the posts. Page loading was slow, but bearable, 6pm onwards - totally frustrating heaps of pages giving me loading errors. I have found that if I open pages using 'open in new tab' this has helped a little.

Think the hamsters might need some RedBull. Cool

Got 3 or 4 tabs going , but still slow , errors , crash and cant do this or that, cannot and did I mention SLOW !?
Hope that server upgrade is kicking in one of these days !
